Instagram is a social media platform that focuses on sharing photos and videos. You can shoot, edit, and publish visual content for the followers to like, comment, and share. Here are the steps to enjoying Instagram.
Download the app via Instagram or Google Play.
You can Log In via Facebook or Sign Up.
Fill up the profile information.
Once you’ve logged in with a username or password, Tap “Done”.
Instagram Notifications
You can control what information you want to receive. You may even turn off the notifications if you like. Comments, Comment Likes, Likes and Comments on Photos of You, Follower Requests, Accepted Follow Requests, Friends on Instagram, Instagram Direct, Photos of You, Reminders, First Posts, and Stories, Product Announcements, View Counts, Support Requests, Live Videos, Mentions in Bio, IGTV Video Updates, and Video Chats can be altered by you.
To customize the mentioned notifications, here is what you do:
Go to your account and click settings.
Go to “Push Notification Settings”.
Put off the notifications you want to unsee.
Linking to Other Accounts
Go to Settings and hit “Linked Accounts”.
Choose what other social media channels you want to link to. Then, incorporate the channel you want to put in the details.
Posting of Images
Instagram is a visual platform, unlike Facebook. You can upload, edit, and post images that include photos and videos. The following are the steps:
Click the “+” icon at the bottom of the screen.
You have three options: find a photo in your phone library, take a new picture, or take a new video. Then, click “Next”.
Edit your image either through “Edit” or “Filter”. Instagram shows the filters first. Click on any filter to apply it to your image.
Click “Edit” by adjusting brightness, contrast, structure, and warmth. If you’re happy with your edit, click “ Next”.
Then add a caption or tag people in it or add a location. Click “Share”.
Instagram Stories
You can also share your Instagram Stories through photos or videos, the way you want it. Stories are up only within 24 hours of posting. How to make Instagram Stories? Just click the camera sign on the uppermost left of your screen.
Follow Users
This is easy! Just by Instagram’s search feature, you can follow celebrities and influencers. You can even search for tags or places.
To follow someone, just do the following:
Click the search icon at the bottom of your screen.
Type a person or brand.
You will then see, a follow blue button at the top.
